![]() ![]() 3 out of the 4 clear sky awards I've received were in Scharnhorst (the other was in Iowa pre-clear sky nerf). I got 2 clear skies in 3 matches one day. I have dabbled with the full AA build for a short time and it was hilarious though. You have a choice between secondary build, mixed build, or AA build. Her dispersion can be a bit annoying sometimes, leading to what you thought was a sure kill on a low-mid health CA at 10km to be a disappointing set of misses, bounces, and overpens sometimes. But when used right, 8-10k salvos on enemy BBs every ~20 seconds is nothing to sneeze at. You aren't going to land regular 15-20k damage salvos like you will with the Alabama or even Tirpitz on occasion. Her AP is very weak in some situations.I mean, probably the best looking BB to me in the game (maybe in history?) Her guns handle well, and the muzzle velocity and shell arcs are good, giving you the confidence to fire on enemy DDs 10km.something I don't feel as readily with Alabama for example. She's quick and manuverable as mentioned above, so she feels light on her feet and able to move around the map to find the fights and get out of them when needed. She doesn't take heavy damage from other ships' AP unless you're silly or unlucky. I've done it so many times and you feel like a hero when you pull it off. Main battery focused on one ship, secondaries on another, and torps on the third. She can easily take on two or even three ships inside 8km and come out the winner. You can spec them out to 7.6km of highly accurate fire. She's the first tier to fully take advantage of the manual secondaries. ![]() I have all three, though I just bought Alabama this week so have limited play time in her. ![]()
